Disney Sees ‘Signs’ on Blu-ray this June

Walt Disney Studios has announced an early-June Blu-ray arrival for M. Night Shyamalan’s spooky sci-fi blockbuster ‘Signs.’ Disney will debut the Blu-ray version on June 3. Apple, soon to officially announce its strategy to deliver movies through the iTunes Music Store (which according to one source is going to be rebranded),and its movie studio partners are working on creating a large library of hits for download within the first six months of making full length films available.

From Director M. Night Shyamalan has joined the celebrities supporting disgraced Mel Gibson as he recovers from stinging attacks following his much-publicized anti-Semitic rant. Gibson upset the Jewish community after comments he made during a drunk driving arrest were made public at the end of last month.

TNT has been playing ’Signs’ this past week, starting this past Friday. Apparently they have also been showing an exclusive clip from ’Lady in the Water’ at the end of the airing (as credits roll).
