AICN Reviews Unbreakable on Blu-ray Disc
Friday, March 21st, 2008 by SpecterUNBREAKABLE is my favorite M Night Shyamalan film. UNBREAKABLE is a comfort film…a movie that I love so much that when I watch it – I turn my computer off… I don’t answer the phone and I just get absorbed, completely by the film. It’s also a film that I am furious at the world not making it an enormous gigantic success. I want the original trilogy that M Night said this was the first part of. It is strange – watching UNBREAKABLE now that HEROES is on T.V. and oddly – this is the first time I’ve watched UNBREAKABLE on the other side of Kring’s HEROES.
UNBREAKABLE feels like a style guide to HEROES. And now that I’ve come to grips with the fact that I’ll never see the continuing story of David Dunn and Mr Glass. I’ve had so many dream conversations about the next step for these characters. And I still feel that the best thing that M. Night could do is to complete his trilogy – that UNBREAKABLE has become a film that is has grown in estimation exponentially in comparison to any of his other films on DVD. And on Blu Ray… wow…this film is astonishingly beautiful.

Willis on Unbreakable, Sixth Sense
Wednesday, June 27th, 2007 by SpecterAnd of course “Live Free” proves he has nothing against sequels. In fact, he said he wouldn’t mind working with M. Night Shyamalan again for a sequel to “Unbreakable.”
“I do some on-line chats on sites like Ain’t It Cool News, and so many times I get asked about working with Night. When we did ‘Unbreakable,’ it was conceived as part of a trilogy. In the comic book world, the story we told was the origins story of my character, and how Sam Jackson’s character became Mr. Glass. Just as a film fan, I’d like to see Sam Jackson and I in a second film, battling it out,” he said.

Harry Potter and the New Master of Suspense?
Saturday, July 8th, 2006 by Dr Malcolm Crowefrom ComingSoon.net: During the press day for Lady in the Water, ComingSoon.net asked writer/director M. Night Shyamalan whether his new studio partner Warner Bros. has tried to convince him to direct one of the last two Harry Potter movies. It certainly would be an interesting thing to see a filmmaker mostly known for directing movies from his own scripts, to adapt the adventures of one of the most popular literary characters.
