Thought I'd try to get some life into this board so here is the question I am presenting: What is your favorite James Newton Howard track from an M Night movie?  And, to make it tougher, you cannot say "The whole Village soundtrack" or something like that, it must be one track/song.

Me personally, I'm going to have to say "End Titles" from Lady in the Water.

race to resting rock...it's just so beautiful and innocent.  it's like an old memory in musical form.   and yes, i admit to crying sometimes when i listen to it, although i don't always cry in that part of the movie...hmmm, interesting...
OH MY GOD...i was at a placebo concert last night and i was second row standing right in front of brian...then i got steve's drumstick!  HELL YEAH!!!

There are so many wonderful tracks that it is extremely hard to pick just one, but for the sake of this thread, I will pick the track entitled "The Vote" from The Village score.  There are so many beautiful melodies throughout the entire piece and it caries a great sense of hopefulness.  The emotion this piece imparts is really just too much to describe in words.  It's just an all-around perfect track in my opinion.

That is a very difficult question.  I'll start out by saying that they are all very incredible.  Anyways, I would have to choose "Those we don't speak of" from The Village.  The music after that silence (also the music at the end credits) is really amazing.  I just absolutely love it.  It is also an amazing part in the movie.

Aye, that it is.  Music from movie scores is my favorite kind of music and The Village is my favorite score of all.

If they had all of the music from the last scene in "The Vote" then definetly I agree.

Well they don't.  Stop being so silly and pick a track, not a combination of tracks and music that isn't on the soundtrack.  No picking nonexistent tracks.

He's my favourite composer with Danny Elfman... All his themes are amazing, and I think there is a real complicity between the 2 men, because each theme of JNH embodies perfectly the atmosphere of the movie..
The entire score of The Village is great, and I love the tenth track of Lady in the Water: The Healing.

I think every single one of JNH's scores are beautiful. I love all of his work. I can listen to his work all day and never get tired of it. But I would have to say that the Lady In The Water soundtrack is one of the most beautiful pieces he has done yet. Signs comes in second. When you listen to his work, Your mind just goes wild with creativity. It helps me think.

I would have to go with the Gravel Road from the village.

Okay...so I got a couple:

I love the Gravel Road from the Village obviously... so good.

But coming in second place would be Charades on the Lady in the Water soundtrack,

followed third by the Main Titles for the Sixth Sense.

...
I'm looking for a copy of the Village Soundtrack and the Sixth Sense soundtrack, as I can't find them anywhere... and I don't know where to look. If someone could help me in this regard I'd be very thankful... as they are amazing. (Especially the village)
