Awards, for better or worse, impart no meaning.

But along with what you said earlier, if Lady had been a success, I think it would (should) have been nominated for Best Score.

And of course, while the score to Finding Neverland was quite good, The Village score was better in my opinion.  But we know how such things go.

Oh well.  I like being part of the intelligent minority.

I most certainly agree with that statement.  I've decided I'm just not going to get mad at people anymore for their stupidity concerning M. Nights films.  If you don't like them, fine.  The feeling of blood boiling inside me is not pleasant.  My only regret is that Night is not receiving the recognition that he deserves.  Positive recognition, that is.

James Newton Howard is not receiving enough recognition either.  He writes such incredible scores, especially for M. Night Shyamalan films.

Just when you thought it couldn't get any dumber... Shyamalan defeats Uwe Boll, Ron Howard and Keenen Ivory Wayans, becoming the Worst Director winner by the Golden Raspberries Awards.

Oh, he also snagged the Worst Supporting Actor statuette.

This is beyond ridiculous. Have they seen other movies? How could his directorial efforts in Lady be worse than that of the other nominees?

LITW just went completely over their heads, and they didn't know what else to do except to just take ignorant shots at it.

It's sort of like when someone is called a name and they don't know it's meaning, so they automatically take offense... kind of like if I called someone a genius and they take offense because they don't know what a genius is.  Same idea.
