Filming in chronological order?
« on: August 29, 2007, 01:19:35 PM »
For those of you who've read the spec script:

Does it seem like Night is filming in continuity?  The set photos released so far have roughly followed the order of settings in the script (school, 30th street station, etc.)

I think he tried to do this with Unbreakable and Signs.

With Unbreakable...but not with Signs,if I remember well.
However,I don't know anything about The Happening because I haven't read the script...actually I didn't even know about the existence of the script in the web...

Yeah - the original script (before the studip-induced rewrites) made it online.  Latino Review did a review on it first, and then I found it on a fileshare webboard. If you, or anyone here, wants to read the spec script (when it was called "The Green Effect"), just post an email address here and I'll email you a PDF.

And back to the continuity question, filming at the G Lodge coincides with the next part of the script after the school and 30th Street Station!

I'm pretty sure he filmed The Sixth Sense in chronological order too.

I see the world, Lucius Hunt, just not as you see it.

It would make sense, I think its something Night prefers to do as much as possible.

That would make sense.  M Night seems like a very ordered precise person.
