I finally listened to The Sixth Sense score, after getting it in the mail yesterday. I've been listening to it a lot ever since to engrain it into my mind. Having heard all the scores now, The Sixth Sense will remain at the bottom as far as a pure listening experience. However, it works very well in the movie, and as far as a "scary" score goes, is right up there with Signs in that regard. The lack of a very distinct theme, and the very sparing use of it are drawbacks to me from a comprehensive look at the score, but I can appreciate it's role in the movie. Can't compare to The Village in beauty thoguh, nor can it compete with LITW in the majesty and thematic complexity department. Still, I'm glad to have it as a part of my collection now!
