You know, it just makes life better when those who are good at making things work even harder to make more of them, such as James Newton Howard and his soundtracks.

It must be so much easier to work hard when you are really interested in what you do.  And I think that can be clearly seen with the high caliber of the work that JNH creates.

Yea, I mean he must really love his work.  He works so hard, and on the special features I've seen of him, he seems really interested and excited about what he is doing.  Oh, I just listened to the soundtrack from I Am Legend, that was really good.  I really liked it.

I love the Batman Begins soundtrack! James' themes for that movie, which are for the most part centered around the Bruce Wayne character, are really lovely. Although Zimmer's finger prints are on most of the action work, I can hear traits of James' action writing in tracks like Myotis.

I can't wait to hear The Dark Knight!!

Yea, I was going to say that about Batman Begins, it was co-composed by James Newton Howard and Hans Zimmer, though you can definately tell the parts they each composed.  I love the soundtrack, it is one of my favorites, I also think it is one the best soundtracks ever.  I can't wait for The Dark Knight.

Orandhite!  Hey!  I picked my copy up from the library!  I just brought it home and burned myself a copy!  You should do the same!

I really prefer having an original copy, but I couldnt find it anywhere cheap enough, at least under $10.  There is no way I am going to pay $12 or higher for a cd!  You have got to be crazy!  Unless... of course... I might make an exception for The Happening.   :D ;D

I'm not a member of a library at the moment...although I might now have an incentive to join!  :D

Um, lifeordeath1, that's kind of illegal.  I wouldn't do that, o well,  your choice.  Anyways, I am so excited about the The Happening soundtrack, it looks great, I will have to add to his other soundtracks that I own that he has done for Shyamalan.

$20-$30, yeah, if you go to a book store here in the states called Borders, they are the same way.  I usually try to look on ebay for soundtracks or used cd stores around the area.   ;D

Best Buy has really good prices, most CD's are only $15 at most, and those are the new ones.  Older ones you can get for $10.  I think that's a good price.
