There was always a difference of opinion between people I know on which should have won special effect, Transformers or Pirates 3, I still think Pirates 3, so you've seen it before, was it the best special effects out there, I think so.  Hey, each to his own though.  Yea, I was surprised at who won best actress also.  I thought Ratatouille was great, but not a best picture nominee, though I would have loved to have seen it up there. ;D

I was dissapointed JNH didnt win for Michael Clayton.  Dang.  Oh well, maybe next year.  I guess this means that I will have to see Atonement now.   ;D

Of the scores James has been nominated for, this was the least deserving IMO.

Next year is his year... I can feel it.  ;)

He's got a list of what look to be some really good films, with his really good scores, which could mean awards.  So yeah, I've got a feeling also. 8)
