I think Night has his own style, and it's easy to recognize it when you watch a film and don't know that it's made by him. There are not so many artists able to create something with teir own style. There was Alfred Hitchkok, and in Spain we have (I don't like him) Almodovar. It's difficult to imagine how King Kong or I'm a Legend could have been if Nihgt had directed them, but obviously they had been Night's films. I prefer not to imagine which films could be better if Night directed them, I prefer to continue waiting for his own personal movies. For the moment he's my favourite director, i don't want it to change.

Hollywood is going down in the last years, i don't want Night to become a typical director able to direct any kind of movie without a rest of personal style.

But...If i had to say a movie I'd like him to direct, my answer is The Descent, a not very known film which begins very well and at the end you wish it to finish. I know it's not the title you maybe were waiting for, but it's been the first one that has come to my mind thinking about this question.

I've always liked the little comic touches in his films. I think he should get in touch with his inner goofball and do a comedy--nothing over the top, mind you, but a nice, gentle, slice-of-life comedy.

Something more along the lines of English comedy maybe.

I watched Wide Awake last night again, and there are some very funny scenes in that movie.  I think he could totally do a comedy!  After watching it I realized that there is a lot of him in that movie.  It was very well written.  Now its time for The Sixth Sense!   ;D

i think that M. Night Should adapt a movie from the book A Brief History of the Dead. But based on past movies, i think he should have done:

The Green Mile although its already amazing.
I Am Legend
REMAKE: Close Encounters of the Third Kind
I think it would be cool if he did a re-do of War of the Worlds and made it better and stuff.

I Am Legend is basically Signs, so why direct the same movie twice?  :D  ;)

Jurassic Park 3. I think he would have done a better job than Joe Johnson.

I see some similar points between the two films, but just at the end I see what you mean, when you say that I'm a legend is basicaly Signs you mean the meaning of the film, the story or what. I think that Signs is a deeper film as I'm a legend.

I'd like to see him do Spider-Man, make it better, more character focused, a little more like the comics.

I just read a book, from the nobel Award winning Jos? Saramago. It?s called Blindness. The book tells a story about an epidemy of blindness who attacks the human kind, I think The happening had big inspirations on it, specially for the third act.
