Hey thanks for sharing! I've wanted to know what Labor of Love was about for a long time. I'll be reading it too.

I've been meaning to read this too, but maybe somewhere in my head I am hoping this turns into a movie and I don't spoil it for myself.  ;)

Yea, but it's been sitting around for a while, so that's unlikely.  Too bad.  :(

I haven't read it yet, anyone who did. Can you give a short discription about the story? (Not the ending ofcourse). Is it a thriller?

As far as I know, because I haven't read it yet, it's about a man whose wife dies, so as a memorial he walks across the United States.

I read it a while back. It's really good, kind of a tear jerker type of story. I wish it would get produced but it doesn't sound like it will happen.

Is there anyway Night can get the rights to it again and make it if he wanted to?

Huh, I never thought about him losing the rights, unless he sold it to a production company.

I think that if Night is still intrested in Labor Of Love, he already had done something with it.

I dont see why he wouldnt still be interested.  Although, he never wants to talk about his older films.  I hope he has one of his older films on the dvd version of The Happening!

I think he isn't intrested anymore, because he made better movies. We think it's nice, but perhaps after 6 major films, he thinks this script isn't good enough.
Besides that, Night is a man of thrill. This script sounds like a drama.

But see, that's what's at the heart of all his movies, is human interaction and drama.  Not sappy, romantic hollywood drama, but real drama.
