UTV's efforts on promoting "The Happening"
« on: April 09, 2008, 08:14:32 PM »
Guys, I was thinking if UTV Motion Pictures is actually doing some work to promote the movie. On their site they have notified they have joint hands with Will Smith production company and also promoting "The Happening". Other than that no other type of promotion.

I saw trailer for the Happening on their site. Same trailer we can see on the movie's official site.

My guess is that Fox is going to be handling the large majority of the marketing, especially domestically.

Yeah, Fox is taking care of International and since UTV is 50% partner, they haven't done anything close to 20%. Maybe they do it after the release. Who knows..

I thought UTV was only advertising in India, but I could be mistaken.
I see the world Lucius Hunt, just not the way you see it.
