I'd rather watch the trailer then listen to the score before seeing the movie. The emotional impact of each cue would be diminished 1000% in my mind.

That's a good point Dr Malcom Crowe, plus the music will stick in your head, then you know the track titles, and you can, oh, I have a feeling of what's going to happen and it will ruin it.  I think I will wait, it shouldn't be har at all.

Yeah, that's why I don't like listening to scores ahead of time. I listened to the Lady score before I saw it and I had a pretty good idea of what was about to happen, especially at the end.

Yeah, I will also be spending a lot of money on soundtracks this summer.  Ooh, I think this is the first time James Newton Howard will have lots of cello in his soundtracks for Shyamalan.

I placed an order for The Happening score and The Dark Knight score through Amazon. I also can't wait, and will be waiting at the same time too. lol. I guess I'll just have the CD sitting on my desk for my starring pleasure until the 13th.

Is there any way, we can listen to it online. I want to hear it before I buy it.

I always listen to scores before the movies come out if I'm really excited about it, and it's never caused me any let down yet.  I understand why some might avoid it, but it only enhances my anticipation, not detract from it.  It'll hopefully be in my CD player June 3rd!

I just think it could slightly spoil my anticipation, I pay close attention to musical cues in soundtracks and movies, so it could cause me to recognize something.
