I've been reading forums for the past 24 hours, and I must say this is the smartest thing Fox and Night have done marketing wise for this movie. The buzz is very positive and has a lot of people changing their minds about seeing this movie (for the better of course).

That was good, did you see the policeman's arm shredded by the dog, or the guy getting run over by the tractor, that made me sick.  This will definatlely be intense, though with the rating I didn't think it would be that bad, but that might be the worst stuff in the movie.

I thought it was a German Shepard.  Also, with the people at the house, and all that stuff came out of them, was that blood, or like some sort of pollen.

It kind a looks like "Mountain Lion". I think, the guy feeds himself to the mountain lion.

Holy crap, that is nasty, I think that the real movie will be somewhere in between the Red Band trailer and the latest regular trailer.  Definately going to be scary, and intense.  I don't think it will be too gory, as indicated by it's rating.

I really hope Night hasn't gone over the edge with this. I'd hate to walk away from one of his movies feeling sick. His films have always shown me something that makes life seem more meaningful - which is why I respect him. It would really let me down if he made a movie that completely diverged from what he's conveyed with the beautiful imagery, dialog, and symbolism in his movies before.

That being said, I'll still hope for the best.

Actually, I won't mind it if I am sick in a good movie (unlike how I was in Cloverfield, Hannibal). A change of pace and style may be good for MNS so he doesn't continue to be typecast as a director with only one style. All I care about is that the movie is good, engaging and has a satisfying ending.

Well I guess it depends on what you mean by 'good'.

If I want to be sick, I'll just chug a bottle of dish soap. That's not what I want from M. Night Shyamalan.

Rohan, you are right, it was a mountain lion.  If he feeds himself to it, that's twisted, and scary.  I don't think it will be a gross out sick, more of a twisted, scary, hiding sick.  You know that feeling when you have such adrenilen going, and you're scared, that type of sick.
