« on: June 01, 2008, 03:14:54 PM »
Hi everyone.

I'm Jim, and I'm an M. Night fan. :) I have all of his films on Special Edition DVDs, and here is the order in which I like them...

1. Sixth Sense
2. Lady in the Water (seriously)
3. Unbreakable
4. The Village
5. Signs

Don't get me wrong though.  I love all these movies, and these are my top 5 most watched DVDs. ;D  How about you guys?  How do you rate the first five movies?
1. Sixth Sense
2. Lady in the Water
3. Unbreakable
4. The Village
5. Signs

This is really hard. My favorite is Unbreakable, I know that. Followed by The Sixth Sense, I know that too. After that it get's hard. I think I will go for Signs as a third, fourth will be Lady In The Water and The Village will become last.

But I like them all, so much!

Aaaghh, this is so hard, o well, I'll try anyways.
Signs
Unbreakable
Lady In The Water
The Village
The Sixth Sense
I don't know, the list gets jumbled up everytime I see each one.  It's so hard, maybe I should have a Shyamalan party and watch all of them, then make my list.
I see the world Lucius Hunt, just not the way you see it.

Seriously, I wan't to change my list now.  Signs will probably always end up on the top because that was the first one I saw and got me interested in Night and his work.

hey i first got into Shyamalan a couple years ago with Signs...most of the movies ive seen i saw when i was younger so im gonna go out and buy all of them and re-watch and see if i get a better understanding of them...right now here is the status...

1. Signs-this movie was the perfect movie...it was perfectly done and it moved me
2. Unbreakable
3. The Happening-there wasnt as much into this as all the other Shyamalan movies but it was awesome and it was scarier then the other movies and it had me gripping my armrest the whole movie.
4. Lady in the Water
5. The Village
6. I really need to watch The Sixth Sense again because its been forever since ive watched it
7. i havnt seen Shyamalan's original 2 movies
"Whats furry furry rabbit?"
"Its a game isn't it?"

Manoj Night Shyamalan is Charles Baudelaire of movie art. That is non-deniable. Baudelaire's value is non-deniable.

1) Signs  (Perfection!)
2) Lady in the Water (I didn't get it the 1st time I watched it.  After I saw it again, I was blown away!!  I was awakened!)
3) Unbreakable (Brilliant!!)
4) The Sixth Sense (A classic!)
5) The Village (Wonderful!)
6) The Happening (Just didn't get it.  I didn't see the internal struggle that I love so much in Night's films)

My list would have to be *Signs* numero uno, also for me it was the first movie I got to see from M.Night. Okay umm.. Second has to go to the lil lady in the water *Lady in the water* my daughter who is four thinks that movie rocks lol! Okay third is *The Sixth Sense*. *The Village* is my fourth pick and then the *Happening* would be my fifth pick. Jeez I really luv all of these movies the same!!

1. The Village (2nd overall)
2. Signs
3. 6th Sense
4. LITW
5. Unbreakable
6. Wide Awake
7. The Happening

(actually, I think 4 and 5 are tied..they are just so different u cant compare them)
See the villain's larger eyes insinuating a just-off-normal perspective on how they see the world? I see signs Lucius Hunt; just not as you see dead people. I am so very happy we saw..each other, and no I will not tell you what color love is. Stop asking.

I had the same thing with Lady In The Water, and a week ago, I watched The Happening again (a stream online). It was the same as Lady In The Water, it was better the second time!
