I'm suprised no one has made this yet. What are your favorite quotes form the Village? (since I have looked so deeply into this film, and shyamalan is such a genius I have to admit that almost every line is a favorite for me, but i'll try to list a few tops)
these are from memory too so they may be slightly off

you can't hide from heartache, it can smell you -August
there are secrets in every corner of this village -Lucious
the end -Lucious
you run like a boy -Lucious
is that the school bell? -Ivy
what has attracted your attention so splendidly that i should carry it in my pocket to help me teach? -Walker
Why must you lead, when I want to lead? If I want to dance I will ask you to dance. If I want to speak I will open my mouth and speak. -Lucious
It is all that I can give you -Walker
come with me? -Finton
Kevin, there is kindness in your voice. I did not expect that. -Ivy
I do long to do boy things -Ivy
careful! you will ruin my shirt. -Finton
We are grateful for the time we have been given. -Walker
Why do you tell me this blackness? -Lucious
So you will know the nature of what you desire. -Mrs Hunt
no more hitting -Noah
the deal is struck -Ivy
There are..different types of love.. o_o -Lucious
I love you like the day is long. More than the sun and the moon together - Beatrice
If this place is worthy, she will succeed in her quest -August
There are other porches -Ivy
you are fearless in a way that i shall never know -Walker
You made an oath-are you listening to me? YOU made an oath. -Mrs Walker
Sometimes we don't do things we want to do so that others will not know we want to do them.
-Ivy
Sometimes we don't do things, yet others know we want to do things so we don't do them.
-Lucious
no, i will not tell you what your color is. stop asking. -Ivy
I hope i am always able TO risk everything for the just and right cause. -Walker
Do your very best not to scream -Walker

OKAY i think that's enough for now. I'm sure I'll be reminded of others as the rest of you post yours.
See the villain's larger eyes insinuating a just-off-normal perspective on how they see the world? I see signs Lucius Hunt; just not as you see dead people. I am so very happy we saw..each other, and no I will not tell you what color love is. Stop asking.

Doesn't anyone want to post favorite quotes from the Village?

"I do not think about what might happen, only what needs to be done." -Lucius

"Your son has made our stories real" -Mr. Walker

^All wonderful ones!

Funniest line in the film (to me) probably is,

Ivy: "We have the magic rocks; they will keep us safe."
Finton: "Why have we not heard of these rocks before?"

xD

They call me Mr. Glass/Tibbs

Lol, i really like the line that comes very soon after where Ivy says Finton can go, and he looks at the ground and says "come with me?"
It's so pitiful, and you can just feel Ivy's disapointment and then her resolve as she realizes the task is hers and hers alone, and if anyone is going to save Lucius it has to be her.
"There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out all fear..." (1 John 4:18)

"The world moves for love, it kneels before it in awe." (Mr. Walker)

The Village is a work of art from frame one to last. It saddens me how some people doesn't see the real beauty in this film.

It's one of my all time favorites. I have a all time list and 'The Village' is on that list. :)

"The world moves for love, it kneels before it in awe." (Mr. Walker)

this single line makes the film for me.
so simple, so pure.

sadly, so alien to our modern society.
