Missing Scene From the village?
« on: June 21, 2008, 02:01:55 PM »
I was watching a trailer for the Village here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sZSk48cYCKk
And I noticed something very strange..it seems to reference a scene in the movie which I don't believe is on the DVD@1:35 (Ive watched the DVD many times...) Now, I seem to vaguely recall this scene though, from when I saw it in theaters.. What do you guys think?
See the villain's larger eyes insinuating a just-off-normal perspective on how they see the world? I see signs Lucius Hunt; just not as you see dead people. I am so very happy we saw..each other, and no I will not tell you what color love is. Stop asking.

Yea, that scene didn't make the movie. It is included on the DVD as a deleted scene.

OHHH yeah, I was like "de ja vuuu man" being a deleted scene would explain why i had seen it at least once but not every time i watch the dvd.

yes the scene was delted after much soul searching form m night i think as it was very effective - pity as i think it would have added further proof of the creatures existance

Yeah, but I don't think it fit well, since August was outright making up a story 100%. I think it's better when the stories have dual interpretations.
