When is the DVD release?
« on: July 18, 2008, 04:14:19 AM »
Does anyone know when will the official DVD be released? I don't know any sites where I can look for such information.

(Here, in Russia, it has already been released in a cheap edition - no special features, just the movie with russian and ukrainian audio. But I'm really looking forward to watching it in english and seeing all those deleted scenes and behind the scenes :))

I am really looking forward the DVD release too, because here in Hungary The Happening was presented only with Hungarian audio (dub). I just do not understand why?  ???
You are lucky anyway to have a copy so early, aren't you?  :P

See the villain's larger eyes insinuating a just-off-normal perspective on how they see the world? I see signs Lucius Hunt; just not as you see dead people. I am so very happy we saw..each other, and no I will not tell you what color love is. Stop asking.

Yeah, it looks like it is edited. By the way I am glad to see the movie in English at last, thanks!  ;)

I don't think a 2-Disc is likely, but I guess weirder things have happened - no pun intended  ;)

The typical theater-to-disc time frame is 4 or 5 months, Night's films typically being the latter. So that puts a release date around October-November.

Right, Malcom? Maybe all this will have a twist ending  ;)

The movie is so short, there really isn't much of a need for it. There is probably plenty of space for enough supplemental material.

A November release would be good, right around my birthday.  Unbreakable had a two disk set.  Lots of special features.  Maybe The Happening will also.
I see the world Lucius Hunt, just not the way you see it.
