lol I am Katara if your really planning on auditioning for the
real deal your suppose to be able to handle both sides of comments
good and bad...
because they will be harsher in real life i think lol
So just lying to be nice really aint gonna bring the truth lol
its better to find out sooner if you look the part rather than in the real auditions
asking why they said no and stuff...
and plus if its open auditions it will be a long day and in the end they will be annoyed lol
so it will make them even more harsher...

Well, I'm sorry for what you've been through, and I may sounds like the meanest person alive, but I think GotRice is right. That's not the mean part; Here's the mean part : a hard luck story isn't gonna cut it in an audition. Sorry if that's cold, but it's true. There are also a lot of people who've been through tough situations, and if it's an open call the casting directors aren't going to care about it, becuase the only thing they will be focused on is casting the perfect role. You'd be suprised with how many people say hard luck stories, and if anything it annoys them. Again, I REALLY am not trying to be mean, I've had my share of bad stuff and I understand, but I'm trying to be realistic and am giving you a heads up. If you can handle criticism, don't only ask for nice comments, but the truth.  And use the criticism to get better; it's there for us to learn, and if you're serious about this, that's how it would have to work. :-\

*again, I'm not a mean person, I'm just helping you*

Wow, that feels so close, but so far from now.

I'm curious about how they are going train the actors in martial arts well enough, in such a short time.
Because, obviously, some experience would be nice, but if they aren't even looking for experience for Aang...
I guess it is about 4 or 5 months, though. Hopefully the people chosen can tackle the role.
