I'm watching right now. Bela Couroli essentially just accused the Chinese government of cheating at womens olympic gymnastics, saying they faked the ages of the girls with government-issued documents. I wonder what the blowback from that will be.
Well, I'm pretty sure they were. There's almost no way some of those little girls were 16, and now they've found a news report from only 9 months ago saying that He Kexin (one of the Chinses team) was only 13...
And the date they list for her birthday, Jan. 1st 1992, seems a bit suspicious too. They could have been a bit more creative...
Anyway, I'm looking forward to watching the women's all around gymnastics tonight. The American men didn't do very well last night, maybe the women will do better.
