My feelings are exactly like Dr Malcom Crowe's.
I see the world Lucius Hunt, just not the way you see it.

He did not (underline that word) deserve the Best Original Score award. What a joke. Song, sure... fine. But best score? lolol awful choice.

Uhm, MalcomCrowe, you do know that you can underline things on this forum, right?
See the villain's larger eyes insinuating a just-off-normal perspective on how they see the world? I see signs Lucius Hunt; just not as you see dead people. I am so very happy we saw..each other, and no I will not tell you what color love is. Stop asking.

I agree with Dr Malcom Crowe, Slumdog Millionaire is a good soundtrack, but it has lots of songs.  I got all of the soundtracks that got nominated and I think it should have been between Wall-E, Defiance, and Benjamin Button with Defiance winning, but even if it got beat by the other two, I would have completely understood.

I disagree. Did you know that there is not a single violin or cello in the entire Slumdog soundtrack.
THose instruments are the BASIS of EVERY single composition.

Id give it to him for sheer originality.

Plus, the songs are so different from that orchestra like cinematic moving pieces. THis just grabs you in its freshness.

A.R. Rahmen = 2 Oscars
Ennio Morricone = 1 (honorary) Oscar
James Newton Howard = 0 Oscars

what a joke. rahmen is actually a very melodic and talented composer, but the slumdog score was nothing extraordinary. the only reason i accept it as oscar worthy is because the oscar history in this category is turning into a joke.
