I agree about your pick for Yue. I wonder if her role will be downsized at all since it seems Suki's role has been heightened?

They might have, who knows. ??? It will be interesting to see how they heighten Suki's role if she has such a small part in book 1.

Did anyone go to the casting in Flushing today? I was in New York City Chinatown all day, but I didn't go because I don't agree with their casting choices...but did anyone else go? What was it like?

NinjaBlank said there was only like 150 people there, same thing with the one in VA.

Mrs. Rickets (the casting director) gave us a little presentation, and two of her assistants handed out these forms for us to fill out, took our pictures and we were done...

Dude shut up, you remind me of Hilary Clinton. Always struggling to get your point across even when no one cares. It doesn't matter that the creators of the show were white. I matched people from the water tribe, fire nation, and earth benders to Asian people. I didn't match swamp benders, or anything else you mentioned. And so many movies and shows have been created by Asian or white, it doesn't make them less of what they are. You can't say Avatar isn't Asian, because it clearly is. Pokemon was made my Japanese, and it's not Asian. So saying that a show belongs to a certain race because of the creators makes no sense.

I love how you can have Asian names, houses, writing, martial art styles, clothing, and Asian religions and beliefs and still say it isn't Asian? Makes no sense.

ps: Not once did I call you a racist? So why would you say I called you a racist?

Gwags, this isn't Asia, it's a different world based on Asian culture, not race.

Anyway, so how many people went to Flushing. How was it?

So you have Asian culture preformed by different race other than Asian?! GOOD ONE!

If I knew they were going to hire another 24 year old white boy to play Sokka I would have auditioned.  :P

Seriously.

You should send in your resume to her email!  There were at least 5 or 6  white guys in their 20's at the casting call in VA...   lol, one of them had huge manboobs... :D
