What if this movie is going to be every kids favorite movie? No adults. Just like TWILIGHT is for young teenage girls 13-16 yrs old...

Who cares....maybe YOU'LL be the only adult that likes it. Who gives a flying Duck if everyone else likes it?

I hope this movie wins my heart. Part of me can't wait for it. I respect Cameron so much.

If somehow this doesn't meet the expectations - all the flying ducks will be pooping down over the cast and crew for years.

Well, seeing is how James Cameron has NEVER let me down (I don't care what anyone says, you all LOVED Titanic when it came out, and it's still amazing!!! ;) ), the only thing that worries me is that this is the first thing he's directed since 1997, which could either mean he's rusty and it's gonna suck balls, or, with how much hype this is getting about being "the most revolutionary thing since the invention of celluloid," could be a brand new James Cameron. we might see things in this film we never thought possible....it will be like being in the 80's again or something where movies still showed us things we never saw before haha.

I am positioned myself all the way in the back right now. I will wait and see how this works. That's what I exactly did when LOTR Return of the king released. I watched the movie 3rd week in the theatre.

Read the article and see that little blue background picture. I am losing my hopes. I think I am not going to be waiting for this movie at all. I am getting the point here. Cameron is trying to make 3D the next big thing and make a name for himself. It's clear we have not seen any movies from Cameron since TITANIC. Okay, it was good. Earned lots of cash and its still the reigning champ. I think Cameron could come with a different idea.

I think he should sit and watch NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN or THERE WILL BE BLOOD to learn true cinema. He should learn that everything isn't about the box office money.

I respect him but he just pissing me off. I am getting frustrated with every article released in the media about AVATAR.

I'm just going to have to wait and see.  It's the kind of movie where I'm not going to rush out and see it.
I see the world Lucius Hunt, just not the way you see it.

Sorry guys, I have to disagree. I think this will be mind-blowing. I heard that this wasn't a movie where they didn't shove the 3-D down your throat, and it only uses it when necessary. Someone saw a 24 minute preview and said he was truly blown-away. Very cool concept too.

What exactly happened to AVATAR at Comin Con - no footage and pictures released. What is going on with this movie. People are talking about it like there is Alien invasion going on. It saddens me that it is 3D. I think Cameron is taking a very huge risk. Huge risk.

I read an article stated that even though AVATAR earns $400/500M in box office it will not be considered a hit for studios.

I am apprehensive even though I am not the director.

Comic Con is this week. He will be showing footage. And Avatar will surely make over $400m worldwide. Possibly double. Hell, Titanic made 1.8 billion. This can make $600m.

And I don't know why you're so scared of the 3D. He's using never used before technology.
