Everything was alright, the visual effects, the casting etc. didn't bother me.  What did bother me was the complete LACK of dialogue.  We haven't even heard Aang say anything other than "NOOOO" I have a terrible feeling that this film will be all look and horrible acting.  Except for Dev Patel.

Oh, and Katara not enunciating the "D" in "You'd" really irks me for some reason as well.  It seems like a one take shot.  Nothing against M. Night, but based on what I have seen of the trailer (which isn't a lot) it wasn't directed with enough care and attention as it could have had.  I really hope I'm wrong though, and the movie turns out to be way better than the trailer.

I think this will be alright, but I would really love to see this movie in 300 style. I am talking about the movie 300.

That might be cool, but again, visual effects would always take a backseat to acting.  For example, the new Percy Jackson and the Olympians movie, great effects, but the horrible acting couldn't live up to the book.

Hi Alana! :)

gwags33: Dude.  You really need to calm down.  Being in the film as an extra, or not, does not entitle you to use foul language on these forums.  Ever.  If you feel this is unfair, everyone else is abiding by these rules, and you're not the only one that has to.  That is fair.  It's not a democracy, it's a private site.

Not to mention, threats, however unrealistic, against another person - no matter how severe - are NEVER appropriate, and I was about to ban you and delete all of your posts, sight unseen, for the remarks that I've deleted.

Cool!
See the villain's larger eyes insinuating a just-off-normal perspective on how they see the world? I see signs Lucius Hunt; just not as you see dead people. I am so very happy we saw..each other, and no I will not tell you what color love is. Stop asking.

gwags33 - Even when it's off topic?  And yes, talking about that stuff is not permitted here.  It brings the whole forum down to immature levels.  Consider this your warning.  I don't play games with my property.

I haven't had work in about two weeks due to all the snow, because my work is dependent on whether or not schools are open.

I thought the trailer was good, but could have been better.  However, I wouldn't worry about enough takes being done, Shyamalan is a perfectionist and works hard to get everything done right, at least according to him, maybe not to others though.

As much as I would hate to see someone kicked off the forum, I respect Specters decision, based on what he saw this topic was getting out of hand.  There have been two other massive arguments, including one with very serious statements, and Specter doesn't want that happening again.  Just remember that Specter did start this website, which I am very grateful for.
I see the world Lucius Hunt, just not the way you see it.
