New Book...
« on: July 26, 2010, 01:07:32 PM »
Coming out August 31st, 2010:

Critical Approaches to the Films of M Night Shyamalan

http://www.amazon.com/Critical-Approaches-Films-Night-Shyamalan/dp/0230104088/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1280167518&sr=1-3

I'm very interested to see how film critics and scholars interpret and think of Night's body of work.

$60 bucks though is a little steep for a book.  Even a cool book.

Probably nothing in there we haven't heard before.

I would rather have a book written BY Shyamalan, though maybe not about the movies, but like, an original story. I got the Lady in the Water children's book, so that was cool.

Thanks for letting us know Wags. I'll check it out if I can.

When I saw the topic, I thought it was going to say Night wrote a book  ;D

Sorry for the letdown  :D

On a related note, didn't Night say once that he'd love to go off and write a novel?

I thought I read something like that in an interview around the time The Village came out, but I could be wrong.

He should. He'd probably be good at it. He's creative enough.
