I just feel like Night should go back to making movies for adults. He hasn't sorta done that since The Village, and he /really/ hasn't done that since Unbreakable.

Gary's script is going to be dark. I have read Book of eli script and he is pretty serious about his writing style and he knows how to write dark stories.
I don't think that after 1 script, you can know someone's writing style.
I do believe that you can see he is capable of something, the first script he sells is pretty good (am I told. Haven't seen the movie or read the script yet), but you can't say what his style is, untill he uses it again.

I don't know if I've said this here, but I don't care for ELI at all. Some of the writing/story-structure is quite Shyamalan-esque, but other than that -- not impressed.

Besides Jaden Smith, I would like to see Shyamalan cast another lead actor. Someone with good acting talents. I would love to see Will Smith in a Shyamalan film, but I don't think Will Smith is going to be in 'One Thousand A.E."

I think Will Smith is a good actor. He's done some great work. (and a lot of not-so-great work). If anyone can get a good performance out of him, Night can. Shyamalan is also good at getting great performances out of child actors (Osment, Breslin, Phoenix [bahaha])
See the villain's larger eyes insinuating a just-off-normal perspective on how they see the world? I see signs Lucius Hunt; just not as you see dead people. I am so very happy we saw..each other, and no I will not tell you what color love is. Stop asking.

I agree with you, Namaste. Will Smith and Shyamalan will do something important with this project. I wonder what will be the title of the movie since '1000 A.E.' is no more the title.

If you are talking about will Smith in a Shyamalan film beside his son, Jaden, then yes. It's confirmed.

Lol. I'm just hoping the delay in production means that they're giving the script and pre-production process every ounce of attention it needs in order not to embarrass Will and Night any further.
