LADY IN THE WATER is getting better and better.

Warner Bros. is expected to make formal offers to both actors today.

Our beloved Ivy Walker - Bryce Dallas Howard herself - is playing the sea nymph, while Oscar snubee Paul Giamatti will be the building super.

Hopefully, this time around, both actors will receive the recognition they deserve from general audiences (and maybe the Academy).

Any excited thoughts?

As I am very, and I mean, VERY fond of Ms. Howard, she is the real "must-see" factor in this film.

What is this movie basically about?

So far all I know that it's about a Nymph. Is this film supposed to be a HORROR film as well,,,,if it is then I can't wait for it...as a matter of fact all "Night's" films are great,,,

That's odd. Giamatti seem too happy to play in a Shyamalan. Just way too happy. And I can't picture him in a hard hat.

I'm actually looking forward to seeing Paul Giamatti in a Shyamalan film. I loved Giamatti in Sideways, and I'm sure he'll be great.

Giamatti is a great actor, and Shyamalan has a talent for bringing out a darker side in the more lighthearted actors/actresses. I just can't wait to see what his is.
