Turning Books Into Film...

 Hello fans,

I just finished another Dean Koontz book and I would love to see Shyamalan direct one of his works.

I finished Cold Fire and I read that Koontz couldn't find a director to base a film on this book without them wanting to change his ending.  I also would love to see Shyamalan attempt Odd Thomas.  I enjoyed both of these books.

I am curious to know what other books/authors you would recommend for him.

Maybe something by H.P. Lovecraft?  Lovecraft's stuff is a little more horror than Shyamalan usually does, but I bet he could really pull it off.

I think "The Giver" would be an interesting movie for Shyamalan.
See...tell him to see...  Tell Merrill to swing away.

I know it's late to post on this but I will anyways.  I think it would be great if Shyamalan directed the third part of the Space Trilogy by C.S. Lewis, great book.  Shyamalan could make it really creepy.
I see the world Lucius Hunt, just not the way you see it.
