Signs is my favorite M. Night movie too. I'm glad others think so. I was really happy when I read Roger Ebert's review. I think he was dead on (I don't know why he hated the village ). I think he wraped it up pretty well when Richard Roper and him said "I hope he (Night) has 30 more movies in him"

I can't think of anything smart to say, other than "I agree." Which I do. But of course, the best part is the aluminum foil hats.

Not to knock War Of The Worlds (which I liked)... BUT, it's amazing how you can take millions of dollars of special effects, an A-list actor, an Academy Award winning star director and script writer, and produce an alien invasion flick not even half as good as Signs.

I just watched Signs again for the 14 millionth time and it was still just as amazing as the first time I watched it, if not better! This was my first time watching it on an HDTV (even though the dvd is only ED, I think) and it was sooo beautiful. I was in awe of the visuals of this movie! I love it!!

You're right. The first time I saw it,I was not so much impressed. It seemed to me a good movie, nothing else. But the more I watched this film, the more my opinion became enthusiastic (I don't know if this word really exist   :D .......).
I've seen Signs 7-8 times and I'm going to watch it again and again and again...

I just watched Signs again. My last post (Dec 20th) was the last time I had watched it. Not even 2 months went by and I was still enthralled by evey second of the movie. I really wish that the DVD release of this movie was simular to the Vista Series for The Sixth Sense and Unbreakable. Even though I think the Signs DVD does have more than the Unbreakable one, there is just so much cool stuff those two DVDs have. The Village needs a cool one too. Maybe they will release the HD-DVD ones soon.

on another note
I am excited about the special features for the Lady in the Water DVD. Warner Brothers usually does a really good job with their DVDs.

i have to agree with you Dr Malcom Crowe. I just watched Signs again and it is still as good as the first time i watched it. The thing is usually when you watch a film more than once it loses its effect and it is not as good as you first thought. Signs isnt like that it hits you in the  same way it did the first time you watched it.   I think this is the only movie that i have  seen more than once at the cinemas and the one DVD i watch the most.
