Letter To School Committee About A New Feature To
« on: January 17, 2006, 09:44:59 AM »
 Dear School Committee,

Did you know that over 75% of all high school students have suffered through sprains, pains, heat stroke, and heat exhaustion? Even more, did you know that 10% of those students have died because of those sufferings? I propose to you a new feature to be added to the new high school.  I fully recommend allowing students to drive small vehicles, such as golf carts, mini coopers, and shopping carts, without license on the campus grounds.  This would bring about many benefits, such as an increase in jobs, lower death rates and complaints, and increased school funds.
One major reason why allowing students to drive about campus will be a good addition to the school is that it will increase jobs.  Who will be the workers who help maintain the conditions of the cars at adequate levels of maintenance? Who will lie down and keep in good condition the turf that will be replacing the grass around the campus? Who will keep students in-line when they are speeding around campus?  This increase of jobs will not only help the economy in the end, but it will also lower poverty rates. Just think of how many live you will improve by adding this new addition to the school.
In addition to the increase of jobs, allowing students to drive on the campus would also, eventually, lower death rates and complaints.  No more will student carp about being tired of walking or about heat exhaustion.  No more will children fall prey to the sun?s vicious rays of energy as it penetrates their frames, causing heat stroke and death. The air-conditioned, covered vehicle they would be driving would dramatically lower the casualty rate. The lowered casuality rate would draw the attention of future high school students and ultimately help everyone.
Lastly, allowing students to drive would increase school funds.  By allowing driving, the school would officially become a designated highway.  As we all, know, highways are given money to be repaired, if needed, and to add new features.  Since we already have jobs that repair the school grounds, we would be able to use that extra $200,000 to buy new equipment and supplies; Thus beginning a ?domino effect?.  With the new equipment comes higher GPAs and literacy rate, which would bring our school to an ?A? average.  This ?A? would bring in even more funds, with which to buy and add new wings to the school, increasing its student capacity. After several more even such as that, our school would be servicing the entire state of Florida, with an outstanding faculty, school ground maintenance, and GPA average.
Once you fully grasp the concept of allowing students to drive on campus, you can finally understand how it will benefit the school. I have projected to you the new feature of allowing students to drive on campus. This would bring about many benefits, such as an increase in jobs, lower death rates and complaints, and increased school funds.

Thank you,
Francis Mcgee

If unlicensed drivers were driving around rampant...don't you think injuries would increase? Or are you only worried about casualties haha!

They say this one has a surprise ending.
