Midnight Was Worth It!

:D I just got back from seeing the movie with my mom!  What an amazing storyline.  I jumped every time the sprinklers went on, I cried, I laughed, and I thought the story line was awesome.  I loved the fact that we are taken between the worlds of make believe and reality and shown how fine the lines are.  Shyamalan is truly an amazin writer, director, and producer.  I think with maturity and experience we can expect to see more great films like this and I have to say "Move over Stephen King".   I also think that those who come to watch this movie without an ounce of openmindedness or intelligence will in fact not get the movie and should probably not attempt to understand it.  It is afterall based on a bedtime story but the movie has much more adult depth to it.  Once again, I loved the movie and cannot wait until his next one.

I've got to wait till August 11th for the UK release :( Seems like its worth waiting for by what your saying though, the best way to see his genius is in the cinema atmosphere so I can't wait.

Official Italian release: 29th September!!!
Can't wait anymore-can't wait anymore-can't wait anymore :(
I do want to see this movie!! [/quote]
My fist reply here so here goes!
I'm ashamed to say it but I just saw [downloaded] the movie off the internet [bad copy I tell you] and it just blew me away! M Night's best work yet!
I absolutely planned on seing it on the screen but thanks to my screwball friend, we never made it. The day I decided to go by myself, it had left the theatres. I hasn't done well here financially but I hope it cleans up overseas.

You are watching LADY IN THE WATER now? What country you live in?
I know about Australia, because it released couple of weeks ago.

Enjoy the show.

Wow,I saw it yesterday and I had to go away from here because they didn't have the movie
Guys,it's a bit difficult to describe my feelings.Initially I was very surprised about the linearity of the plot (too simple,I thought). Then I started realize that that was a "bedtime story",nothing more, nothing less.In my opinion this is not a "true movie",this is a true fairy tale transported to the theatres.I can understand now why Disney refused this script:it's very strange, maybe too strange for people who don't know anything about his movies.I have to say that even for me this script was very different from all the other movies, that I loved.
You know,I'm a true fan of Shyamalan and all I can say is that he's very courageus:it takes a lot of courage to carry a tale to the big screen,a tale created for his own two daughters. This movie is very different from his other works, for certain aspects it is the opposite,in my opinion:I don't want to talk about here, because of the spoilers. At the end:a good tale,to be watched carefully,in my opinion.
However,I have to see it again to confirm my point of view, because now I'm not completely sure :?

Ok!Don't take my post too seriously, because after having read one thing in "Lady in the water SPOILERS" I totally changed my view of the film.I have seen it only once and,to be honest,I didn't get anything about the symbolism.
Well...I simply have to see it again
