I was just thinking about this film (as I do most of the day haha) and was admiring how well the ending was structured. I've heard a few complaints that it ends too abruptly, but I think the final shot we see of Cleveland standing there is such a bitter sweet moment. Sure its a happy ending, but you cant help but feel so darn sorry for the guy even though his life has changed for the better.
In terms of cinematography, the whole final sequence is AMAZING. When the great Eatlon swoops down, I was expecting a LOTR type shot of it picking Story up...yet we have that fantastic underwater shot as its wings spread around her. Such a beautiful composition, followed by that sweeping shot as it flys over Philidelphia...Argh! I love it!

I know this is such a 'gushy' post but I thought I'd share my love! haha.
