The Sixth Sense On The Abc Family Channel?
« on: December 15, 2005, 09:53:06 PM »
I watched The Sixth Sense on the ABC Family Channel the other week, which I found a bit odd. It was weird watching an edited version of the movie. Plus they added in the deleted scenes that can be found on the DVD, which I think really threw off the pacing of the film.

Anyways, I thought that it was interesting to find that movie on such a channel, did anyone else happen to catch it?

Yep, I watched it. I know what you mean. It was weird. Not too bad, but you're right. Just like the edited version of Unlce Buck, it's not the same.

It's been a while, so I don't remember much. I'm not sure what they left out. (That's why I didn't really elaborate on what I said earlier...) But I do now that even without cutting out parts, it still felt messed up with the deleted scenes. Sorry I can't answer your question.

When the one boy says he knows where his dad keeps his gun, they didn't show the wound in the back of his head, they made a quick edit to the next scene right before they show it.

I can't remember if they show Dr Crowe getting shot, or exactly how much of it they show.

Like I stated earlier, they did add in the deleted scenes from the dvd.
I'll try to rememeber more, and post when I do.

The Sixth Sense is going to be on ABC Family Channel again this Friday, October 20th.  Not sure what time though.  Day 2 of their 13 days of Halloween thingy. :)

It seems that any time I happen to catch The Sixth Sense on TV, the deleted scenes are always tacked on to the film. Wonder why?

Yea, I've seen them do that with other films, I still don't know why.
I see the world Lucius Hunt, just not the way you see it.
