James Newton Howard to Compose for The Last Airbender

The Gorfaine-Schwartz Agency has added The Last Airbender to James Newton Howard’s filmography. This is M. Night Shyamalan’s new film, which is expected to premiere in the summer of 2010.

It is the seventh feature film collaboration between Howard and Shyamalan, previous projects include The Sixth Sense, Signs, Unbreakable and this year’s The Happening.

    JNH is capable of anything! Im convinced JNH will turn this trilogy in a beautiful music experience! i cannot wait

    Well that was sort of a given. I love James Newton Howard, he did some of the most beautiful music ever for The Village. I hope they keep some of the original music though.

    I think Asian is the word you're looking for storm anderson, and since Night's not the one composing the music why bother taking it out on him?
