Teaser Trailer Description: (by "TrappedSoul" on IMDB.com's Message Boards)
The trailer (from what I remember--correct me if I'm wrong) has no dialogue throughout and is slow in its disposition.

It begins with various shots of an average, if not overabundantly inhabited, apartment building. The place is complete with children, a janitor (Giamatti), an oddly large number of blue butterflies, and a swimming pool.

The next few shots include Giamatti (who from the text we know by Cleveland) walking down a hallway, pushing a cleaning cart, climbing some stairs, drawing in his backhouse, fixing books on his bookshelf, pulling stuff down...living a very quiet and seemingly lonely life.

Then the shot focuses on a view of the pool from inside his backhouse, and a slight but audible spalsh heard from the outside. We see Cleveland rise but his shoulder is out of focus, but he clearly heard the noise. He watches. The next shot is from outside his backhouse and above the pool, but we can still see him watching for the source of the noise. Another innocent spalsh.

Title card: Lady in the Water. Then a shot of Giamatti from UNDERWATER, looking up. Then more title cards: A Bedtime Story [pause] by M. Night Shyamalan. Summer 2006.

Cleveland: "How many more of you are there?"
