Shyamalan Talks “Avatar” at Comic-Con ’07

This is something that totally flew under my radar until recently, so forgive me for being a week late. Not long ago at this years Comic-Con in San Diego, M. Night Shyamalan made an appearance (via Satellite) at the Avatar: The Last Airbender panel. Although it was really brief and short on the details, it does show that Night is serious about this film and that he looks to start production as soon as he wraps on The Happening.

  1. p.s. Shyamalan appears about 1/4 of the way through the video, so fast forward if your not into look at a bunch of “Avatards” geek out.

  2. Wow, you weren't kidding when you said Night's appearance was brief… However the rest of the video was interesting too.

  3. I wish they had a Shyamalan-Con. I would so dress up in my yellow Village cloak and walk around quoting “The Village” pretending I was Lucious Hunt.

I would also take a bullet for M. Night if someone tried assasinating him. 🙂

  4. A Shyamalan-Con would be cool. I'd go as Elijah Price with the glass cane and all. “They call me Mr. Glass…”

  5. OMG! what a concept! they should SO have a Shyamalan-Con! and that would be cool to have the scrunt and the tartutic there too!

  6. A Shyamalan-Con? Isn't that what they call it when someone poses as Shyamalan to get money? Oh, I crack myself up.
