Shyamalan’s Moby Dick inspired series lands with NBC

Mr. M.Night Shyamalan has just placed a new drama series, Lost Horizon, with NBC, according to Deadline. NBC has given it a put-pilot commitment. This project, which involves around a small East Coast fishing village, will be executive-produced by Shyamalan, who is also attached to direct the pilot.

The 2008 action thriller, ‘Eagle Eye’ scribe, John Glenn, will be writing the project as well as executive-produce it. Shyamalan’s Blinding Edge Pictures and Sony Pictures Television will produce Lost Horizon.

Not too long ago, Mr. Shyamalan with Syfy, entered a pilot deal for the drama, Proof, which tells the story of tech magnate’s son offering a reward for anyone who can provide proof of an afterlife, after his parents die in a tragic accident. Shyamalan is going to be directing, as well as co-writing and will be serving as one of the executive producer of the Proof.
