M.Night Shyamalan talks ‘Devil’
Saturday, September 11th, 2010 by RohanM.Night Shyamalan talks about his upcoming thriller “Devil”. The film’s idea comes from his mind and it’s directed by Drew Dowdle and John Erick Dowdle. Brian Nelson wrote the screenplay for the DEVIL and it’s starring Chris Messina, Bojana Novakovic, Geoffrey Arend, Logan Marshall-Green and Caroline Dhavernas. The film is about a group of people trapped in a elevator realize that the devil is among them when they start dying one by one. In the video below M.Night Shyamalan briefly talks about on how the idea of DEVIL came to his mind. Enjoy!

Devil featurette
Thursday, September 9th, 2010 by RohanIt’s an intriguing premise. A new behind the scenes featurette for DEVIL has been released. The featurette provides a few more clues into who or what the Devil might be, while also discussing the filmmakers’s perception for true horror. Chris Messina plays the lead role of Bowden, sobered-up homicide detective who is involved with a group of people trapped in an elevator – when they begin to mysteriously die one by one. From the mind of M.Night Shyamalan, Devil is the first entry in the filmmaker’s “Night Chronicles” trilogy.
You will be stuck with the Devil in theatres on September 17th. Thanks to APPLE for the featurette and the folks at BLOODY-DISGUSTING for the video below. Enjoy!
Devil Comes to Times Square
Saturday, August 21st, 2010 by Rohan
With the release of Rogue Pictures’ Devil from the Brothers Dowdle (Quarantine) and based on an idea and produced by M. Night Shyamalan, less than a month away on September 17, Rogue has stepped up the marketing campaign for the movie. What better way to get attention for the movie than to take over all the ads on one side of a building in Times Square? That’s exactly what they’ve done with these rather distinctive title posters that oddly faces the building formerly inhabited by Lehman Brothers. Who knows what the tourists must think as they walk by the giant word “DEVIL” not once but twice as they walk down 7th Avenue between 49th and 50th Street, but ShockTillYouDrop.com took some pictures of the sight for those of you who can’t make it into New York City to check them out for yourself.

Airbender shooting in Reading, PA began Thursday April 2
Saturday, April 4th, 2009 by SpecterTo paraphrase the iconic line from filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan’s “The Sixth Sense”: “I see movie people.” The people whom the young Haley Joel Osment saw in Shyamalan’s breakthrough 1999 film were, of course, dead.
But the movie people are alive and well and plan to begin filming Shyamalan’s “The Last Airbender” in the Reading area beginning Thursday, weather permitting. Most of the work for the Paramount picture this week will take place at the Pagoda on Mount Penn, following the company’s return Monday after 15 days in Greenland.
