Devil: Own it now on Blu-ray/DVD
Tuesday, December 21st, 2010 by Rohan
You can own Devil now on BLU-RAY, DVD, DIGITAL DOWNLOAD and ON DEMAND as well. An idea comes from the mind of master of suspense, M.Night Shyamalan and directed by John Erick Dowdle. The film is written for screen by Brian Nelson. Devil is the first chapter under THE NIGHT CHRONICLES, a production entity with Media Rights Capital, focused on generating a series of supernatural thrillers.
In case you don’t know anything about the film, it’s a story about five strangers trapped in a elevator high above Philadelphia. They discover slowly that the devil is among them and no one can escape their fate. This chilling supernatural thriller will keep you on the edge of your seat all the way to a heart-stopping ending with a truly wicked twist.
You can read our DEVIL review here and go here if you want to know more about the Blu-ray/DVD features.
The Last Airbender DVD/Blu-ray to include cut scenes, but no Kyoshi Warriors
Tuesday, July 6th, 2010 by SpecterLooks like our hopes of seeing the Kyoshi Warriors put into the movie have just been dashed. As well as hope for a “director’s cut.” However, we weren’t asking for a director’s cut, were we? We were asking for the Peter Jackson route of “Extended Edition.” Both the theatrical and the extended editions of The Lord of the Rings are considered to be the “director’s cut.” Therefore, if Night wants to, he could just create another longer cut (perhaps even using alternate takes here and there), that could stand apart from the original version.
MTV asked Night if we would see the deleted scenes later on, though, and here’s what he said: Read the rest of this entry »

M. Night planning new original film for after The Last Airbender
Thursday, October 2nd, 2008 by Dr Malcolm CroweBloody-Disgusting.com recently sat down with M. Night Shyamalan to talk about The Happening coming to DVD & Blu-ray Disc next week and somehow got him to tease the notion of him directing an original idea after The Last Airbender.
“In my head I have three ideas that are fighting to be the next spec,” Shyamalan explains. “One is more straight up scary, one is more light hearted scary – kind of more in the Signs vein, which I had a great time doing the lighter end on that one – the other one isn’t… well, it’s not Gothic… but I am always in that world when I am working on original ideas. I will be shooting that one in 2010, so I have some time to decide.”

Lady in the Water is Available Today
Tuesday, December 19th, 2006 by SpecterLady in the Water is a film of wonder, showcasing the amazing mind of M. Night Shyamalan. It takes you into a tapestry of wonder, and like all of his films, the pieces can be wound in many different ways. It is only as the movie draws near to the end that you understand that what the movie is about, isn’t what you thought in the first place. And when you realize what it is truly about, you can see the whole film in another light entirely.
