Bruce Willis on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

Actor Bruce Willis finally got to have his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, his becoming the 2,321st star to be unveiled on the famous Hollywood Boulevard.

“I used to come down here and look at these stars and I could never quite figure out what you’re supposed to do toget one,” Willis said. “And time has passed and now here I am doing this, and I’m still excited about it. I’m still excited to be an actor.”

His three daughters and former wife Demi Moore, her husband Ashton Kutcher, and friends Kevin Costner, Ben Affleck, Billy Bob Thornton, Don Johnson and Sylvester Stallone were among the crowd watching the ceremony, TMZ.com reported. Willis’ mother was also present.

In 1999, Willis achieved what could be considered the biggest success of his career with his starring role in Shyamalan’s debut film, “The Sixth Sense”. The film was both a commercial and critical success and launched Willis career to a new level of stardom. Willis was married to actress Demi Moore from November 21, 1987 to October 18, 2000. The couple gave no public reason for their divorce. Willis and Moore have three daughters from their thirteen-year union.

He also starred in M. Night Shyamalan’s “Unbreakable” the following year.
