Title: Entertainment Weekly Preview
Post by: Dr Malcolm Crowe on January 20, 2006, 07:47:21 PM
The new copy of Entertainment Weekly is the '2006 Movie Preview Issue'. Of course one of the movies listed is Lady in the Water. It contains a new pic which is pretty cool, I guess, and a paragraph about the film. Paul Giamatti talks about working with Bryce and about what the story may or may not be.

Anyways, I thought I would give y'all a heads up and tell ya to check your local news stand or store for the cool issue.

 Actually,

If you know nothing about the film and you wish to remain that way don't click link
otherwise its nothing too crazy.

Its a neat little article.  Judging by the picture, it looks like that photo and the other photo in the gallery here are very close together in terms of the movie.

I had a little talk with somebody (I can't remember who) about this. I think we agreed upon the release of the new trailer around April. Maybe it was you Rohan. I'll have to go back and check. That picture is pretty cool. The article...I tried to stay away from, but I couldn't hold back. I'm definately not reading that review though...I'm questioning its authenticity.

P.S. Nice new signature Rohan.

It doesnt say it was a fake, it ays that the author asked to have it removed becuse he might be in trouble for commenting on it.  It doesnt say the review was fake, though.

Something fishy is going on. While the site's comment doesn't infer that the review was fake, it's excuse doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
Supposedly the reviewer didn't see the movie at a "test screening" but a screening for "friends and family". Why would someone who is a friend or family member review and spoil the movie? Doen't make sense. Something bogus is going on for sure.

I'd highly recommend Star Wars for anybody who is an aspiring director/writer. You can really see where it shines. As for the Harry Potter movies, I'm a huge fan of the books, so syllogistically I suppose I do enjoy the films...but I think you'd be better off just reading the books.

** trying to bring the topic back on subject, lol **

Premier Magazine Contains an article simular to the one in Entertainment Weekly. It was part of their 2006 Movie Preview edition. This article contains a few funny and interesting quotes from Bryce and M. Night.

"It was a bedtime story I told my kids"
- M. Night

"I'm a pisces, so I've always been a little fish like"
- Byrce Dallas Howard

"Actually, we kept making a joke about it, bacause Paul has to spend more time in the water, we said it should be called 'Man in the Water'."
- Bryce Dallas Howard

(about Bedtime characters and the make believe)
"If I told you Santa Claus is real, you wouldn't [Believe it]. So it's about, how much do you believe and are your mind and heart open to this kind of stuff?"
- M. Night

it is a cool little article and a cool isue. Check it out.

Look for it at your local Borders or Barnes & Noble.
It's Premiere Magazine, and on the cover is the new Superman. It's the 2006 Movie Preview edition I believe.

No, there is not a new picture, they used the picture of Bryce standing alone by the pool.

I have a disire to see new pictures and a new trailer, but deep down I really don't. I don't need new information that might make the movie less enjoyable, I just want to watch the movie! I dunno, does anyone else feel this way? I was thinking that I might not watch the new trailer if and when it comes out, kinda going back to the days when we heard the rumor about there being no trailer at all.

I know exactly what you mean Dr. Malcolm Crow. I've posted this feeling numerous times on these forums. Although my minds yearns for new information, my heart tells me otherwise. I enjoyed the rumor as well.
