My favorite is The Matrix Trilogy.  It's just awsome!  My second is Harry Potter.

I had to go with LOTR, because it's the only one that is consistently good all the way through. Matrix one, and terminator 2 were amazing, but not enough to make the series my number 1.
See the villain's larger eyes insinuating a just-off-normal perspective on how they see the world? I see signs Lucius Hunt; just not as you see dead people. I am so very happy we saw..each other, and no I will not tell you what color love is. Stop asking.

That is an extremely hard list to choose from, but I am going to pick Harry Potter. How can you top a series that has 7 books/8 movies?

Make 3 good movies...?

Lol  ;)

'Gotta say I think the Harry Potter films are terrible though. Never read the books so don't know how much of a part they play in the overall enjoyment (i'm guessing a huge part) but for something that on paper I should love (magic, wizards, lots of flying things  ;D) I just don't. Don't think any of them have been good.

Actually didn't mind the first one. Didn't mind the first X-men either. 'Til I saw the next 2.

Yeah Potter isn't finished yet but no way can it have as great an ending as LOTR does.

Ya, Star Wars overall is a cultural hit, also has 3 movies that were classics, also family friendly...... :P
