Great artsy film, with some combat and romance too! Watch it for 2 hours, then spend the rest of the week discussing the different points of views and meanings of colors and wind and names. I predict an 85% chance of tears. I saw it back before it came out in american theaters because my sister was living in hong kong and brought home a copy of it a year early. Theres a lot to think and talk about throughout the movie..theres a twist ending, and some beautiful music and cinematography. The fight scenes are stylized and exaggerated, but they have the effect the director intended.
See the villain's larger eyes insinuating a just-off-normal perspective on how they see the world? I see signs Lucius Hunt; just not as you see dead people. I am so very happy we saw..each other, and no I will not tell you what color love is. Stop asking.

Correct me if I wrong. Isn't this starring Jet Li?

It is. That is included in the wiki article, I'm sure.

Okay. If its the one with Jet Li, I have seen it. They used slow motion during fight sequences. Isn't it directed by Quentin Tarantino?

No it's not. Namaste included the link to the wiki article with all of the information about the movie for a reason, lol.

Didn't noticed the article link before. I check this forum from work sometimes.

I haven't seen Hero, but another interesting Asian film is Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, that's not bad.
I see the world Lucius Hunt, just not the way you see it.

I LOVE the use of color in this movie!!! It would be awesome if they used the director of photography for avatar. You know, with all the colors each nation has (Fire Nation= Red, Water=Blue, etc). you can even apreciate the use of colors in diffrent scenes in teh cartoon!!!
