Second ‘Night Chronicles’ film to start filming in 2013

The second chapter to The Night Chronicles and Media Right Capital’s, Reincarnate, and formerly known as Twelve Strangers is set to continue in 2013 as announced on Twitter by Mr. Shyamalan himself recently. When the cameras are going to roll in 2013, we’re not sure about that.  This project’s been in development for almost 2 years now; the production was originally set to commence during fall of 201l, according to The Night Chronicles’ website.

And, once again, Mr. Shyamalan won’t be directing. The Last Exorcism’s Daniel Stamm was confirmed to helm, which is scripted by Buried scribe, Chris Sparling. Yet no word regarding the fate of the project from The Night Chronicles or Media Rights Capital was shared after that. In order to confirm the status of the script and the project, I contacted Mr. Sparling early this year, which helped shed some light that interesting news is to appear in horizon sometime.

Reincarnate is about a jury haunted by supernatural forces while deciding the fate of an accused murderer, an idea hatched by Mr. Shyamalan as his first thriller, Devil in 2010. Stay tuned for more information on this project.
