Unbreakable – Split Sequel Announced!

The time has come—nearly 20 years in the making, the sequel of all sequels (besides the Blade Runner 2049) to Shyamalan’s father of all superhero films, Unbreakable, and his psychological thriller Split.

Shyamalan took the time to reveal the details on twitter today that not only the script has been penned, but Bruce Willis will be back to reprise his legendary character David Dunn with Samuel L. Jackson as Elijah Price, also known as Mr. Glass. Anya Taylor*Joy as Casey Cooke and James McAvoy as Kevin will also reprise their respective roles in the film, which is simply titled: Glass, set for release on January 18, 2019 by Blumhouse and Universal Pictures.

According to the folks from Variety, Glass will follow Dunn, who will clash with Kevin Wendell Crumb in a series of escalating encounters while Price—Mr. Glass will be present in the shadows, an orchestrator holding secrets critical to both David and Kevin.

Stay tuned as we’ll be bringing more stuff towards you as to who’s going to be Shyamalan’s director of photography this time and if Mr. James Newton Howard will be back to compose the score for the film. We hope so.
