Can you give me M. Night Shyamalan’s email, telephone number or address?
No. Even if we had it, we still would never reveal that information to anyone. Mr. Shymalan’s privacy is important to us.
I am sorry to tell you that I don’t have his email address, or telephone number. I have not met him and, therefore, have no personal contact with M. Night Shyamalan. Remember, this is a fansite. However, if you would like to send mail to M. Night Shyamalan, please follow the directions found here at Fanmail.biz
I have a great idea for a film! Can you forward it on to Mr. Shyamalan?
No. We cannot forward it to Mr. Shyamalan.
This is a very tricky situation. A lot of us get great ideas for films that seem perfect for this director, or that director. However, as in all cases, if you plan to send your ideas, work, etc. to M. Night Shyamalan, you need to be aware that the movie industry as a whole does not and cannot accept unsolicited material. Sending it would more than likely be a waste of time and money that could be better spent on filming your story idea for yourself.
Can you send me research material?
I’m sorry, I don’t have a lot of time to send information to individuals, as that time would be better spent putting such information on this site.
Can I use images from your site on my site?
Since this is a fansite, I do not own any of the photographs and stills from the films that appear on this site. I won’t complain if you take the images and use them elsewhere. However, I do demand that any graphics work I have created exclusively for this site, the layout, and the design, remain exclusive to this site. Stealing my work would not be prudent, as you want to create an identity of your own, with a unique website. Having five-thousand websites on the internet with the same information and design would become very boring. I did not steal this design from anyone, and I expect the same respect from all of you.
And please, above all, do not direct link images from my image gallery to appear on other sites. This is bandwidth theft and is unethical and illegal. When you do this, you’re stealing from my pockets, as bandwidth is not cheap.
How can I help the site?
The one thing that I’m always on the lookout for, that would help the most, is for you, the fans, to contribute information. Whether it’s news or other information for the films, if it is informational and unique, it may be helpful to us and to other fans. If you find news that we don’t have, please don’t assume that we’ll eventually stumble upon that information. Just send it in, and we’ll decide what to do with that information. Any reader that sends in scoops and other info about M. Night Shyamalan and his projects is a valuable member of the community. Please provide sources for news articles, as we strive to be a credible news source on all things Shyamalan. We credit all sources and individuals that helped bring a story to the news on MNightFans.com.
If you have news that you think other fans would love to hear, please e-mail it to us first. If it is must-see news, we should have it up on the main page within a few hours, up to a day or so later. If a day goes by, and there’s no news, feel free to just post it in the forum. Because it’s in our e-mail as well, it will eventually make it to the front page.
Please spread the word to other M. Night fans that this site exists. It’s also helpful to have many of you link to us on your own websites, especially if they’re related sites.
If you have suggestions for making this site better, feel free to e-mail me. I’m willing to accept ideas as long as it is constructive to this site, and not overtly critical. Thanks for taking the time to read this, and for understanding the reasoning behind these answers.

I am a fan of The Sixth Sense and I understand there were several drafts written before the surprise ending with Dr. Crowe being actually a ghost. What were the earlier drafts like?
