Overview
Old is M. Night Shyamalan’s 2021 thriller based on the graphic novel Sandcastle by Pierre Oscar Levy and Frederik Peeters. The film stars Gael García Bernal, Vicky Krieps, Rufus Sewell, Alex Wolff, Thomasin McKenzie, Abbey Lee, Nikki Amuka-Bird, Ken Leung, Eliza Scanlen, Aaron Pierre, and Embeth Davidtz.
The setup is one of Shyamalan’s cruelest and cleanest: a group of vacationers arrive at a secluded beach and slowly realize they are aging at a terrifying rate. Bodies change, relationships strain, children become adults, and time stops feeling abstract. It becomes brutal almost immediately.

Story
