Servant is the television project on MNightFans that most obviously needed a real home. M. Night Shyamalan helped shape the tone, the claustrophobic rhythm, the camera language, and the sense that one Philadelphia row house could feel bigger, stranger, and more dangerous than an entire city block.
The series ran for four seasons on Apple TV+, 40 episodes total, and it plays a little differently than the films. It is less about one clean twist and more about pressure. Grief. Faith. Control. Hunger. The way every room in that house starts to feel loaded. Servant keeps tightening the screws instead of blowing the doors off.
