Kennedy and Marshall re-team with Shyamalan for The Last Airbender
Thursday, April 17th, 2008 by Dr Malcolm CroweKathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall, who worked with Shyamalan on his blockbusters The Sixth Sense and Signs, will join M. Night Shyamalan, Sam Mercer and Scott Aversano as producers for The Last Airbender.
Kennedy and Marshall have had successful careers as producers, having produced blockbusters like the Indiana Jones and Jurassic Park film franchises. Also joining the team as Executive Producers will be Michael DiMartino & Bryan Konietzko, the creators of the popular TV series of which the film based.
The Sixth Sense voted 2nd best ‘non-Oscar’ film

The Shawshank Redemption topped the poll of films, and the supernatural M. Night Shyamalan thriller The Sixth Sense took second place.
Willis on Unbreakable, Sixth Sense
Wednesday, June 27th, 2007 by SpecterAnd of course “Live Free” proves he has nothing against sequels. In fact, he said he wouldn’t mind working with M. Night Shyamalan again for a sequel to “Unbreakable.”
“I do some on-line chats on sites like Ain’t It Cool News, and so many times I get asked about working with Night. When we did ‘Unbreakable,’ it was conceived as part of a trilogy. In the comic book world, the story we told was the origins story of my character, and how Sam Jackson’s character became Mr. Glass. Just as a film fan, I’d like to see Sam Jackson and I in a second film, battling it out,” he said.
The Sixth Sense on AFI’s 100 Years, 100 Films
Wednesday, June 20th, 2007 by SpecterIt’s the 10th Anniversary of AFI’s 100 Years, 100 Films, and to commemorate the occasion, they made films released from 1996-2006 eligible for inclusion. The Sixth Sense has been voted onto the list. It came in at number 89.
Other films from those years appearing on the list are: “Titanic” (#83), “Saving Private Ryan” (#71) and “Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring” (#50).

M. Night Shyamalan’s “The Happening” coming Summer 2008!
Wednesday, March 7th, 2007 by Dr Malcolm CroweWe finally got the news we’ve been waiting for, M. Night Shyamalan landed a deal for his next film at 20th Century Fox! The Studio gave the movie, titled “The Happening,” the green light after Night took the spec script home for a month to do some re-writes. Shyamalan will write and direct the film in Philadelphia this August. Fox has also announced that the film will have a June 2008 release date.
Bruce Willis on the Hollywood Walk of Fame
