Colors
Ivy's ConditionSynesthesia is a neurological condition in which the senses are intertwined at birth. It is a very rare condition, that causes the person to "see colors when I taste food and colors and shapes when I hear sounds, and every number and letter and word has it's own color and sometimes personality, and personalities have colors," as my friend Erin told me. This could be what gives her the ability to see colors for both her father and for Lucious Hunt. The word anesthesia means "no sensation"; synesthesia means "joined sensation" (Greek, syn = together + aisthesis = perception). It refers to an involuntary physical experience in which the stimulation of one sense modality reliably causes an additional perception in a different sense or senses. For example, a synesthete might describe the color, shape, and flavor of someone's voice, or seeing the color red, a synesthete might detect the "scent" of red as well.Yellow The good color Red The bad color
