‘After Earth’ trailer will debut in front of ‘The Hobbit.’

Ever since the filming for After Earth is finished, we’ve been talking about the first trailer and its debut. We thought  a teaser was going to be attached in front of ‘The Amazing Spider-Man,’ and if not in front of Sony’s new Spidey movie, maybe in front of ‘Total Recall or the new bond film, ‘Skyfall.’

But, it seems like that’s not the case, for according to Mr. Shyamalan himself who revealed it via twitter recently after someone asked him if he could hint when the first trailer will arrive and Mr. Shyamalan said: “It will be seen around Christmas on a film with a very short protagonist. “ Yes, that means it’s goinng to be attached in front of Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit, which is going to be released on December 14th, 2012. Now this just gave us another reason to watch The Hobbit on the big screen. After Earth is currently in post-production and it is scheduled for release on June 7, 2013.
